Remedy: Respiratory Steaming 101

Hey Y’all, since we’re in the season of immune compromising l felt the need to share a remedy that has helped myself, my family and many others! This particular recipe is one I learned from my mom & @thehoodhealer on IG about 2 years ago. This is great for building your immune system, keeping a healthy respiratory system, draining mucus and ridding one of sinuses. I personally have shaped my own version of both of their recipes in order to create what I am sharing with you all today.

 

Respiratory Steam 101:

5 DAYS Straight Herbal Facial Respiratory Steam

| DO NOT DRINK | can be used for children 6+ |

 

****for children younger than 6 years old place steam on the stove and let the menthol aroma flow throughout the house or you can bring your pot into the bathroom, seal the floor with a towel, cut on the shower (max heat), stir the pot counter clockwise with the intentions to remove any ailments you are seeking to heal. Steam with children under adult supervision. ***

 

Directions: One Time a day for 5 days Straight

 

Step 1: Bring Large Pot of water to a boil then add your Herbal Respiratory Steam Blend purchased from Meaux Juice & Co   

  • Stir and allow the rolling boil to continue for about 10 minutes

Step 2: find a medium-large heat retaining bowl or pot (I prefer something stainless steal)

  • Grab a large towel (to cover your head)
  • Tissue Paper (for your nose)
  • Set a timer on your phone for 15-20 minutes

Step 3:

  • Pour respiratory steam in bowl chosen.
  • Sit and cover your head, neck and bowl with your large towel
  • Click start on your steam and enjoy!

>>> if you feel your steam is no longer hot feel free to blow 🌬into the bowl or give it a good stir then continue steaming.
